Audrey, pillows and curry oh my!

Audrey is 7 months old today - how the time flies!! She can sit on her own for quite a long time and has two teeth. Her most recent development is that she has started to wave to people! It's super cute!


We bought a few pillows from IKEA to go on the new couch in the basement once the renos get done. I just love how bright they are and can't wait to see the room all finished!


My tip of the day. I LOVE curry. All sorts of curry. I had Indian food last night at a friend's place and was really looking forward to a traditional curry - she made other stuff (that was truly awesome!) but I still wanted curry today so I've made some for dinner. I make the traditional type curry that has loads of spices, onions, tomato etc. It's quite labor intensive so what I do is get everything prepped before and have it all waiting in little bowls ready to throw in. I make the curry during nap time (late for my girls today which works out well) and cook it then so I don't have 2 girls under foot. Then all I have to do is cook the rice at dinner time and try to resist eating the curry while I'm waiting for the dad to come home! YUM!
