The basement reno is (slowly) coming along. We now have all the walls primed! Next step is to paint / spackle the ceiling, then we can paint the walls. After all wall painting is said and done it's more painting of doors and baseboards then install floor, baseboards and we can move everything back in!! I am so ready to reclaim my space, like SO ready. In my living room right now we have an extra couch, the computer desk, ALL the kids toys etc. etc.
It has, however, made me realize how much I like having the extra seating in the living room. Having just one couch and chair for seating in the main sitting area just isn't enough when you have friends over.

I've been searching craigslist for the perfect table to do this project. While on craigslist I have also been searching for the perfect sideboard/hutch that I can refinish to put our TV on in the living room - I have a good feeling about this week, will update if I find anything! Between these two projects and the headboard project I feel that I'm going to need to take some time off from being 'mom' to get anything done!

I like that fireplace bench! Very nice! Maybe when you guys are done your basement, you can come over and finish ours? How do you feel about baseboards and window casings...?
